NBC Premier League in Crisis as Five Clubs Threaten Boycott

The NBC Premier League has plunged into uncertainty following reports that five clubs have threatened to boycott the final two matches of the season.
The clubs have stated they will not participate in the remaining games unless the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) provides clear and satisfactory responses regarding concerns over refereeing decisions and recent breaches of league regulations.

According to credible sources, the clubs have already submitted formal letters to the TPLB, expressing their dissatisfaction over what they describe as a pattern of blatant favoritism and repeated violations of the rules — without any meaningful action taken against those responsible.
Among the protesting clubs is Yanga SC, which has already announced it will not play in the highly anticipated match against arch-rivals Simba SC, scheduled for June 15. The club may also skip its final two league fixtures.
